The City of Pleasanton Community Development Committee was officially formed in April 2009 as part of the City of Pleasanton Commercial/Residential/Recreational Revitalization plan adopted by the Pleasanton City Council in March of 2009.

The Committee is charged with developing and implementing a wide range of ideas and programs that will allow our community to propsper for another 140 years!

The recent "Buy Local" Campaign was organised and implemented by the Development Committee.  The campaign consisted of editorials, a two page "Buy Local" ad featuring Pleasanton merchants, a "Buy Local" Mayoral proclomation and a Customer Appreciation day held in July.
